Season’s Greetings – Happy Holidays around the globe and sending warmest wishes to you wherever you might be.
It was brought to my attention that I had disabled comments. Oops! Onward…
I have lived in the edges and still do, hence the name of my publication. It’s a place that’s maybe a little different, weird, creative, wild even (at times) which includes the time I was in the band Zolar X – a band that got it’s start in the 70’s, mingled with the likes of Kiss and Iggy Pop and never could “make it”. It’s a long, long story which will be for another time. But for this year, and today I’ll share a Xmas song we recorded in 2010 when we lived in Hollywood. I hope you enjoy the song. In this song I sing vocals along with my husband and he plays a mean guitar as well. Yes, we dress up - kind-of-like cousins of Spock from Star Trek meets Space-Punk Rockers.
Much gratitude to all my new friends I have met, the new friends to come, and for the amazing Substack Community I’ve grown to know and love.
I’ll keep the light on.
Rhaine! I knew you were a rock star! But I had no idea you were an outerspace rock star! I want antennae of my own, please? And your husband looks a lot like Leonard Nimoy in drag. Well done! Thanks for sharing. It's swell!
Haha! Exactly - Leonard Nimoy in drag. Thanks Nan. Glad you got a giggle out of it ;)
