I watch a man with a Pitbull
The leash walks him
There’s a blue bowl upside down around us
Gauze-like talk drifts across the sidewalk
Another man enters
Itty-bitty barks at the end of the leash
And itty-bitty legs carry them
All of them
Concrete blurred
With shadows still
Bird chatter insistent
Crow caws with questions
Surrounded by cotton clouds
